How is this different from generic delivery routing software?
Haultro is built for waste and fleet ops, so the optimizer understands container fill levels, tonnage and weight limits, body and equipment types, and landfill or transfer-station cutoffs, not just addresses and drive time.
Does it handle both recurring routes and on-demand work?
Yes. You can run standing weekly and commercial routes from templates and still drop same-day and emergency jobs onto the best available truck through dynamic dispatch.
Can dispatch override the AI?
Always. Dispatch can pin, hold, move, or reassign any stop with drag-and-drop, and the optimizer rebuilds the rest of the route around those manual decisions.
How does it know a bin needs service before it overflows?
Asset tracking feeds 48-72 hour fill forecasts into the optimizer, so containers projected to overflow are pulled earlier in the run instead of being missed.
How fresh is the truck location data driving the board?
Freshness depends on the accepted provider, customer plan, scopes, connection health, and polling or webhook cadence. Haultro records current locations for dispatch review but does not promise a universal 15-second cadence or geofenced stop-status automation.
