How we write, review, and correct our content.
Haultro publishes guides and definitions for waste and fleet operators. This page explains who writes them, how they are kept current, what sourcing standard they follow, and how to get an error fixed.
Who writes this content
Articles on the Haultro insights section are written and maintained by the Haultro editorial team, working with the product and operations people who build and support the platform. We publish under a team byline rather than invented personal bylines: we would rather show a corporate author honestly than attach a name that does not exist. As named subject-matter reviewers join the editorial process, their names, roles, and review dates will appear on the articles they review.
How articles are reviewed
Every article shows its publication date and, where it has been revised, a last-updated date. Guides that touch regulation, such as ELD and DOT compliance, carry a last-reviewed date and are re-checked when the underlying rules change or at least annually. If an article is out of date, the dates on the page will say so honestly.
How claims are sourced
Regulatory and factual statements are checked against primary sources, such as FMCSA and EPA publications, and articles list their key sources where the subject calls for it. Product claims about Haultro itself are checked against the current product. Outcome figures follow the same standard everywhere on this site: modeled figures are labeled as representative and explained on the methodology page, and we do not invent customer results.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix the article, update its last-updated date, and note material corrections in the text. Found an error? Email contact@haultro.com with a link to the article and we will review it promptly.
What this content is not
Insights articles are operational guidance for waste and fleet operators, not legal, tax, or compliance advice. Articles that discuss DOT, FMCSA, environmental, or payment rules say so explicitly and recommend confirming specifics with the relevant agency and qualified counsel before setting policy.
